The RENEW Conference recently featured a significant contribution from the SPOWIND project, highlighted by the paper titled “Experimental Investigation of Taut Leg Moored FOWTs in Damaged Conditions” authored by F. Niosi, O. Dell’Edera, B. Paduano, G. Giorgi, G. Bracco, and S. Schreier.
Participation of SPOWIND Lead Partner Polytechnic University of Turin was guaranteed by the SPOWIND project. The contribution of the paper allowed to strengthen the numerical model used for the calculation of the dynamic characteristics of the FOWT (Floating Offshore Wind Turbines).
